Vitalstrats Creative Solutions (VCS) is marking its 20th anniversary with a year-long celebration dedicated to various advocacies that reflect its core values of inclusivity and diversity. This milestone year features a series of events designed to empower different communities and tell impactful stories through creative means.

Having already partnered with the WOW Coaching Group for a women’s event in March, we now turn our attention to children with disabilities (CWD) in May. VCS is collaborating with CWD Pasig, our beneficiaries, for the “Our World Through Art” (OWTA) workshop. This initiative is dedicated to empowering children with disabilities by showcasing their extraordinary talents and stories through art.

Celebrating 20 Years of Creativity and Advocacy

Vitalstrats Creative Solutions (VCS), a leading creative marketing agency specializing in digital content production, has always been committed to promoting inclusivity and diversity. Both Ms. TJ Joson and Ms. Amrei Dizon, VCS Managing Partners, are Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) themselves. Over the years, VCS has actively participated in organizations advocating for inclusivity, gaining exposure to the experiences of individuals who need it most. For VCS, the most meaningful way to celebrate its 20th anniversary is by giving back and creating impact through what it does best—telling stories.

“This (OWTA project) will give us the opportunity to celebrate our 20th anniversary in a meaningful and impactful way, as we get to push forward one of our advocacies — supporting people with disabilities,” said Ms. TJ Joson, VCS Managing Partner.

The Our World Through Art (OWTA) Workshop

The workshop will take place on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Barangay Kapitolyo in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This event will fill the hall with art and creativity, focusing on children’s perspectives on the world. Through art, the kids will be encouraged to share their stories and viewpoints. The VCS creative team, led by Executive Creative Director Jan Agulto, will be facilitating the workshop as “art coaches”, ensuring an engaging and collaborative experience for all participants.

“I’m excited about getting to know the kids and their guardians, hearing their stories, and connecting with them,” said Ms. Joson.

“There’s still a lot of stigma around disabilities, and we want to change that. Kids with autism or ADHD have incredible talents that often go unnoticed,” added Ms. Dizon.

Before the workshop, VCS will participate in a sensitivity training session with the Pasig Persons with Disability Affairs Office (Pasig PDAO). This training is crucial for the team to effectively engage with and teach children with various disabilities, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment. By understanding the unique needs and strengths of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other disabilities, VCS can better appreciate their perspectives and help them express their creativity.

From Workshop to Merchandising

Following the workshop, the VCS Creatives Team will transform the children’s artwork into a variety of merchandise. This process includes scanning and digitizing the outputs, enhancing the designs, and compiling them for different products.

These unique artworks will be featured on merchandise such as postcards, calendars, stationery, t-shirts, tote bags, hard copy prints, and digital copies for phone and laptop wallpapers.

Ongoing Collaboration and Support

Vitalstrats Creative Solutions is excited to continue supporting the children with additional activities, including artwork exhibitions, launching an online store, and running a marketing campaign.

VCS is pleased to have Prestige Paper Products on board, generously providing paper products for the children’s loot bags. Alongside this, Kindred by Sunday Morning Studios will support us in capturing the genuine moments and beautiful memories of the OWTA workshop.

Creativity with A Cause

“OWTA isn’t simply an art workshop; it’s a platform to inspire and reveal the unique talents every child possesses. By celebrating their creativity, we hope to promote greater acceptance and understanding within our community,” stated Ms. Dizon.

Our World Through Art aims to jumpstart this initiative, planting the seeds for sustainable support managed by CWD Pasig. VCS invites everyone to attend the exhibitions, engage with their stories, and purchase artworks that empower. Every piece bought contributes directly to a child’s future.

A Year of Giving Back

As VCS celebrates its 20th anniversary, the company is dedicating the year to giving back through various advocacies. These include animal welfare with Animal Kingdom Foundation as a beneficiary, a strategic creativity conference for young creatives and marketers, LGBT inclusion initiatives, and the ARAW Values Advertising Awards promoting ads with Filipino values in partnership with the Advertising Foundation.
