VALENTINE’S DAY 2020: WEAR YOUR FEELS
At #TeamVCS, love and self-expression are always a big deal. That’s why for our 2020 Valentine’s Party, we decided to wear love on our sleeves by wearing colors that matched our relationship status.
Wearing our *secret* Valentine’s Day feels!
If there’s one thing that everyone at #TeamVCS loves, it’s FOOD! Our party started with a short prayer followed by a delicious dinner.
Dinner is served! We had (dishes) and a loooot of drinks! ;)
Once we were energized, it was time to party! The games for the night were all about love. First, teams raced to form a heart using cups.
Team are pros at balancing cups!
Next, a twist on the classic Hangman game! This time, teams had to guess the titles of romance movies.
Our last game was quite a challenge! Players were given a frame / still photo and only 10 seconds to guess the movie title. Being a romance movie buff certainly had its advantages!
Of course, it isn’t a VCS game without prizes for the winners and shots for the losers. ;)
Valentine’s at VCS isn’t just about fun and games--it’s also about our “feels”. As per tradition, we spent time filling out this year’s Valentine’s cards. Our sweet messages became even more heartfelt thanks to these cute heart-shaped stickers!
To cap off our program, our managing partners announced the winners of our recently-concluded Art for Others contest (Art for Others). This competition was a great way to share our skills and time with causes that we believe in--another way for #TeamVCS to show love!
“Group 1” designed street signs for a barangay in Nueva Ecija. Their innovative proposal won first prize!
“Charl’s Angels” won second place! They worked with ECPAT, a nonprofit that helps young survivors of human trafficking.
Last but not the least was “PAWS Team”, who created merchandise designs to get people to “Adopt, Not Shop”.
Here’s to more LOVE and harmony not just within the team, but to everyone we work with.
