Transcription: “Hi, I'm Nick Olanka, a film and television director. I have a long history with VCS. VCS was my post-production team for my first cinemalaya film "Ang Huling Araw ng Linggo." That was in 2006, about 16 years ago and Amrei edited my film. We were both fresh from UP and in our early twenties. After that, I worked with VCS for branded short films, videos, AVP, and I even wrote for them a comic book about stomach pain. Most of my work outside film studios or television networks are for VCS. How did VCS stand out for me? Well, they are in QC and I hate Makati, charing. No, VCS stands out because they are women headed creative marketing agency. They have advocacies like Voter's education campaign and entrepreneurship as a weapon for change. They are fantastic collaborators and whenever I work for them, it feels like home. For its 18th birthday, I wish VCS to have more opportunities to show and test their values as a company and as creatives.”
