Project: Innovation Olympics 2.0

In 2020, East-West Seed Philippines launched the Innovation Olympics 2.0: Precision Agriculture for Small-Scale Vegetable Farming. This competition encourages students from across the country to share, create, and pilot new technology solutions for urban and rural vegetable farmers. In 2021, the culmination of the competition saw six teams of young innovators battling it out to win the grand prize.

The competition was held amid the pandemic. As such, the culminating event for Innovation Olympics 2.0 was held virtually through East-West Seed's Facebook Page and Virnew. EWS Philippines tapped VCS as their creative partner to work on several services such as Full-Service Digital Event Management, Event Collaterals, and AVP Video Editing for the said event.

The resulting event garnered an effective engagement with 222 attendees tuning in to witness their schoolmates and relatives in the competition and learn about technological innovations in the agriculture sector, inspiring the youth to consider farming as a profession
