When we buy fruits and vegetables at our local groceries, we might think that these come from big farms or companies. But in fact, 85% of our food comes from smallholder farmers, or those farms which have only small plots of land and 1-2 crops.

This was one of the things that #TeamVCS learned while working with East-West Seed, a vegetable seed company whose mission is to Sow a Better Future for smallholder farmers living in the tropics. Through their high-quality seeds and knowledge transfer programs, these farmers yield not only better vegetables, but a better future for their families.

We helped East-West Seed share this mission with the world by creating a corporate video that highlighted their values, programs, and the success that their employees and partner-farmers enjoy.
